I love cosplay so much. The amount of effort and the passion that people have for it is always amazing to see. The stuff that people come up with never ceases to amaze me and every now and again I'm completely floored by something. In this case, I was absolutely amazed by Cheeto/CheeBangBang's rendition of the 'Embodiment of the Marauder' armor set from Diablo III. The amount of work that went into it is kind of ridiculous and she posted progress shots along the way.

So what happens when you put hours and hours of work in? As it turns out, it's a pretty hot fantastic set of armor.

Cheetos, the other half of C&C Cosplay Factory, has done everything from Kill la Kill, Dead or Alive, Street Fighter, The Last of Us, and more. Out of that impressive body of work, this demon hunter version of the 'Embodiment of the Marauder' has to be, hands down, my favorite of hers so far. Also, the name of the armor is just flat out badass.

A variety of materials went into making the costume depending on how the pieces had to behave. Cheetos herself stated that she employed a lot of different techniques to make it all come together.

I use a ton of different techniques to make stuff! I usually base my decisions on how thin, heavy, or flexible a piece is needs to be in its final form. I made Cherche entirely out of craft foam and polystyrene, but the curves of the Demon Hunter armor made worbla a better choice. I used polystyrene where I could since it is so cheap and lightweight (and as a result incredibly easy to attach with velcro). There is a zipper on the back of each lower leg piece which let's me slip it on and off.

I have nothing but big ups for that kind of attention to detail. I can barely motivate myself to microwave a Hot Pocket let alone build a whole set of armor.

I highly recommend checking out C&C Cosplay's Facebook and Cheeto/CheeBangBang's Instagram pages for more of awesome cosplay. Links down below.
