Kim Kardashian is no stranger to coming under fire on social media. After all, as one of the most recognizable reality TV stars on the planet, people are always going to be vocal about who she spends time with, what she wears and what she says.
However, in recent days, a new online debate has sparked off after Kim posted a rather controversial post, in which she spoke out about her struggles with pregnancy.
So what went down? Well it all began when Kimmy K, who is expecting her second child with Kanye West, expressed her brutally honest views on being pregnant, saying:
"I'm gonna keep it real: For me, pregnancy is the worst experience of my life! LOL! I don't enjoy one moment of it and I don't understand people who enjoy it. Maybe it's the swelling, the backaches or just the complete mindf**k of how your body expands and nothing fits. I just always feel like I'm not in my own skin."
Naturally, her comments did not seem so "LOL" to many people around the world. While some cherished her honesty and her candid approach to her experience, others rained down harsh criticism on the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star, branding her "ungrateful."
One Twitter user wrote:
Another shared a similar distaste:
"How can Kim Kardashian say pregnancy is the worst experience of her life after trying for months on end to get pregnant? Never appreciative."
And this woman agreed:
"I think you're ungrateful. Many woman do not get to enjoy being pregnant bc they can't like me and you do & you s*** on it."
Unaware of the backlash her words would incite, she continued to reveal the often-unspoken reality of pregnancy, with the voluptuous star admitting:
People just don't tell you all of the gross things that happen during pregnancy or after. Do you know you basically have to wear a diaper for two months afterwards! LOL! No one told me that! #SoSexy. I don't feel sexy, either - I feel insecure and most of the time I just feel gross.
However, at the end of all of her complaining, she insisted how all the sh*t and tears were worth it:
Really, it is all SO worth it when you have your precious baby in the end! So for all my complaining, it's 100 percent worth it and more!!!
Perhaps our Kimmy isn't so ungrateful after all!
