Even being regarded as one of the most down-to-earth women in the entertainment industry, Sandra Bullock is not without a wild past of her own. But what made her turn her life around was adopting her son Louis in 2010.

In a recent interview with Glamour Magazine (via Mirror) for their November issue, the 51-year-old Oscar winner talked about how much being a mother and raising five-year-old Louis has changed her life.

Well, I did some stupid things in college. Fact that I didn't wind up in jail: miracle. Miracle! So I'm grateful for that. But, you know, I don't feel like I was an adult till about five years ago.

I had to step back and go, 'I have the greatest gift in little Louis, and I'm gonna let him see the woman I want him to know.' So a child forces you to get your s**t together. In the best way.

If her absolutely adorable relationship with her son wasn't enough to make your heart soar (probably because you are made of stone or are not a real person), her romantic relationship with her boyfriend Bryan Randall is also thriving.

According to People Magazine, Bullock and the 49-year-old model-photographer have been together since June after meeting when Randall photographed Louis for his graduation.

After the personal turmoil she's faced in the past, I think Sandra Bullock deserves real happiness, and it seems like the boys in her life are more than happy to oblige.
