Kevin Corcoran, most famous for his portrayal of Arliss Coates in the 1957 Disney classic Old Yeller, has passed away at the age of 66.
Corcoran was admitted to Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank after a long, five-year struggle against colorectal cancer.
Kevin made his first theatrical appearance at the tender age of five, starring in Anthony Mann’s The Glenn Miller Story (1954). Later in life, Corcoran moved his focus behind the camera, co-producing The Shield and Sons of Anarchy.
His friend and colleague, Shawn Ryan, said Corcoran was "a delightful person and producer." He will be sorely missed.
