I recall a friend of mine realizing the moment that gaming - or rather Football Manager - became a dangerous presence in his life. Having gone round to his girlfriend's parents place for the evening, he came to the conclusion that he had more important things to be doing. After dinner had wrapped up and desert was on the way, he actually feigned an illness in order to get the hell out of there. His goal? To play Football Manager. Wow.
Obviously, he didn't stop playing the game right away, he had a few months left in him before hanging up the shirt and tie. But such is the power of gaming and the highly addictive Football Manager! But rather than help alleviate this issue, SEGA and Sports Interactive are determined to make sure that every second of your life can be spent with Football Manager 2016.
Football Manager 2016 - These New Features Will Kill Your Social Life After Release!
Football manager 2016 will be released on November 23rd this year and we're sure that it will have the same support as it always does! But these new features may start to widen its appeal even further. Check out some of the new additions Sports Interactive have been working on:
- Create your own manager on the touchline with a new character creation system. Finally you can see a version of yourself screaming from the touchline!
- Fantasy Draft Mode. Starting with a fixed budget, each manager builds a squad from scratch, competing with other managers to sign the best talent before going head-to-head against one another in a mini-league.
- Create-A-Club. This mode will allow players to customize every aspect of their own club. You can add yourself and friends to the lineup, edit the squad with unlimited options, and even choose the colors of your club!
- Sports Interactive’s partnership with the leading sports statistics provider, Prozone, has really been worked on. Its a simple tool to use, one that revamps in-game match analysis.
Additionally, the game will also upgrade existing features while adding new ones, such as the set-piece creator, expanded press interaction, more realistic injuries, and more! But the one aspect of Football Manager 2016 that is going to kill so many of us, is its cross-save functionality.
Football Manager 2016: Cross-Save Is Both Good & Bad News, People!
All versions of Football Manager Touch 2016 are 'cross-save compatible' with one another, so a career started on a tablet can be saved to the cloud and continued on computer (and vice versa). THAT IS DANGEROUS!!! Do you know what this is going to do to people's lives, people's jobs, people's studies?! Never mind relationships! Now we can have Football Manager anywhere. No more leaving dinner parties, you can just bring your iPad and ignore your company.
So what do you guys think about this update? Are you warning your family members of your impending disappearance? Are you prepared to give yourself into Football Manager 2016 in and out of the house? Let us know where you stand on these new features in the comments below!
