Superman? Included! Wonder Woman's cape? Yep! Batman being his usual badass self? HELL YEAH! The concept art absolutely beautiful!
DC All Access has it all in it their video with the wonderful Batman vs
Superman costume designer, Michael Wilkinson! Having previously worked on Man of Steel, he has been very faithful to the comics. Watch the interview below:
Epic, right? Sure, we've seen the costumes, but there are more angles of the costumes shown than ever before.
Let's start with the man who started it all.
The Man of Steel
The costume has remained mostly unchanged from Man of Steel, but the art is too amazing not to be shown. Again, the belt buckle and gauntlets have been modified and the whole suit changed to a different shade of blue. We will likely learn more about the changes when the movie finally hits theaters. Now, moving on to the warrior princess.
Sensational, isn't she? The biggest thing to not here is that she will in fact have a cape. The red capes are not the only ones coming, Lex.
Diana's battle gear is very comic book accurate and she looks ready to take down monsters and to unite the seven.
And finally, the Dark Knight returns. Ben Affleck was initially bashed by fans around the world, but over time the hate has lessened. Wilkinson has without a doubt designed the perfect suits for one of the best superheroes of all time.
Just like in the animated series, the Caped Crusader has the ability to cover his whole body with the cape. How awesome is that?
And to put some even more awesome into this post, a high-res picture of Batman and the Batmobile has finally been released!
Don't worry, you can stare at it for as long as you want.
Do you love the concept art?
This is just the tip of the iceberg! LexCorp has been teasing something big at New York Comic-Con 2015, and it could be coming any minute now. Check out the website here.
Fearing the actions of a god-like super hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters on March 25, 2016.
