Even though these heroes have secret identities, crazy powers, and even crazier costumes, they still have hearts. Because of this, they, like you and me, need people to support them. They need friends to have a drink with or someone to cry with. Deep down, they are just like you and me. We need people to lean on, we can't do it alone.
If superheroes do indeed have friends, who are they? Well, even though they may have friends outside of their night job, some heroes managed to become friends, and here they are:
5) Captain America and The Falcon
If you are MCU fans already, then you are probably familiar with this duo. The two first met when Cap and Sam Wilson (a.k.a. The Falcon) team up to try and stop the Red Skull. Even though The Falcon and Captain America didn't automatically become best buds, they eventually rose to the top as one of the greatest superhero duos.
4) Robin and Superboy
As a sidekick and a clone, these two didn't automatically hit it off. The two were paired together in the Young Justice series. As part of the group, two eventually warmed up to one another and became long lasting friends. Unfortunately, the friendship that was cut short by Superboy's death in Infinite Crisis.
3) Luke Cage and Iron Fist
When the two, solo, comic lines weren't doing so hot, Marvel decided to combine the two series. This experiment turned out to be a gold mine. Powerman and Iron Fist perfectly reflected each other, and it showed. The duo is probably the best example of superhero buddy cops.
2) Magneto and Professor X
Magneto and Professor X are the perfect example of superhero frenemies. With Professor X's X-Men and Magneto's Brotherhood of Mutants, the two first appeared to have little to nothing in common. That is until it was revealed that they both were Holocaust survivors, where they met and became friends. Their ideological beliefs are what separate them, but their mutual respect for one another is what has kept them friends all along.
1) Batman and Superman
Wow! Shocking! I know you probably saw this one coming a mile away, but that does not take away from it's popularity and power. The two, along with Wonder Woman, are known as the big three in the Justice League. Although Batman and Superman are friends, they have their differences, which has lead to a few altercations/fights. Through all the fighting though, their is a deep found sense of mutual respect and lasting friendship.
