Movie News

Disney has dropped so many dates for their movies. Variety has the entire list, but let's look at some of them.

Cars 3: June 6, 2017

Coco, a film about day of the dead: November 22, 2017

Toy Story 4: June 15, 2018

The Incredibles 2: June 21, 2019

I wish Incredibles was moved forward. I don't mind a new IP. But I've already seen two Cars and three Toy Stories. I want to see another Incredibles.

Ant-Man and The Wasp: July 6, 2018

Black Panther: moved up to February 16, 2018

Captain Marvel: moved back to March 8, 2019

Three Untitled Movies: May 1, July 10, November 6, 2020

It is really cool to see The Wasp get top billing with Ant-Man in the sequel. I am happy Black Panther was moved up. However, I want to see Captain Marvel. I don't want to wait any longer. Though it is now coming out around my birthday, so that isn't so bad.

Daniel Craig is probably not coming back as Bond. Atleast, not by this interview with Time Out:

Can you imagine doing another Bond movie?
‘Now? I’d rather break this glass and slash my wrists. No, not at the moment. Not at all. That’s fine. I’m over it at the moment. We’re done. All I want to do is move on.’
You want to move on from Bond for good?
‘I haven’t given it any thought. For at least a year or two, I just don’t want to think about it. I don’t know what the next step is. I’ve no idea. Not because I’m trying to be cagey. Who the fuck knows? At the moment, we’ve done it. I’m not in discussion with anybody about anything. If I did another Bond movie, it would only be for the money.’

Ridley Scott has decided to tease the characters in the next Prometheus/Alien sequel Alien: Paradise Lost. Via Coming Soon:

It’s going to be it’s own separate thing because they are going to the planet of the Engineers and they are going to see what happened there. It was a disaster. And they will be in that alien craft that takes them there, but with a new group that’s incoming, a new group of travelers in the beginning of the first act.

Television News

The Librarians was a fun series that premiered last fall. Now season two is less than a month away. So enjoy the new trailer.

Shadowhunters, the television version of the popular YA book series (and unsuccessful movie), The Mortal Instruments, has released its first trailer. Granted, they used Snapchat to release the clips before putting them together for the first offical trailer.

Shadowhunters premieres in January 2016 on ABC Family, soon to be Freeform.

The Flash reveals Zoom in the sixteen second trailer for episode 2, "Flash of Two Worlds".

The teasers for Jessica Jones just keep getting better and better. Is it November yet?
