The hype for Fallout 4 has been insane. This entry in the Fallout franchise is embarking in the Wasteland of Boston, Massachusetts. There's been a ton of new things that have been added with this new game. One thing I'm looking forward to is the story of Fallout 4. I've played Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas while playing through both stories. I really enjoyed the story of both and I'm hoping the story of Fallout 4 is just as amazing. Here's a few things I hope for the story for Fallout 4:
A longer story
One thing I noticed with the Fallout games I've played was the story seems to fly by really quick. Almost too quick to enjoy. I felt like within a few hours I was on the final part of the story whether it was the Battle for Project Purity or the Battle of Hoover Dam I felt I got there too quick.
Factions and faction clothing were introduced with New Vegas. Hopefully the Fallout 4 introduces some new factions. We all know The Brotherhood of Steel is making a return, but what other factions may be involved in Boston (Possibly the Commonwealth or some group of androids)?
Requires you to use the building of weapons for parts of the story
The story should use some of the new features in the camp such as the weapon building feature. It would be a cool concept to use the new features in ways to build certain weapons or items instead of going out to find the item itself. It would add some difficulty to the game and help you understand the building concept of the game.
A lot more Vaults with some more messed up stories behind them
One of my favorite things about Fallout was the screwed up stories the Vaults of the Wasteland contain. Whether it's Vault 106, Vault 20, or the abandoned Vault that is known as Necropolis. I enjoyed some of the stories behind the Vaults and it added just another thing to explore in the Wasteland.
