Karma. It will seek out the wrong to balance out the right. It won't let up, it won't stop until justice is served. Is that what is happening now to Nick Gordon? According to TMZ, he's being sued by his ex-girlfriend's legal estate for $40 million over the claim that he killed her. That's right! The civil suit points the finger at him.
Lawyers representing the estate of Whitney Houston's only child with R&B Icon Bobby Brown claim that the two were involved in a violent exchange and that Nick Gordon may have drugged her. TMZ claims:
6 AM on January 31st -- hours before Bobbi Kristina was found face down in the tub -- Nick Gordon came home from an all-night cocaine and alcohol bender. The suit claims he reviewed camera footage and became irate.
The suit says Gordon began screaming at Bobbi Kristina, accusing her of cheating and calling her a "whore and b*tch." Their argument then went from room to room, and at some point the suit claims Gordon gave Bobbi Kristina a "toxic cocktail" that rendered her unconscious. The lawyer then says Gordon dragged Bobbi Kristina to the bathroom where he placed her face down in a tub filled with cold water.
Nick Gordon obviously denies having any part in Bobbi Kristina's death. He claims the daughter of the late Grammy superstar just took way too many drugs. That said, reports on the web are stating that he did confess to an argument he had with Bobbi Kristina over her possibly engaging in an affair with an unknown individual. The estate that is suing Nick Gordon claims that it was because of this reason, and that Nick Gordon had injected Bobbi Kristina with a toxic cocktail of unknown substances which caused the young woman to have a heart attack.
It's no surprise that young Bobbi Kristina never got over her mother's tragic death. It's been speculated that she's been dealing with depression and has used many different medications to try to cope. Friends and family have mostly remained silent on the issue but one thing is for certain: they are now looking at Nick Gordon very closely, especially with the details of this lawsuit forthcoming.
It is worth mentioning that there have been no charges filed by the District Attorney, and the official autopsy reports has been sealed by a Judge for the time being. He is however, the person of interest and the incident is still being investigated.
