Jim Lahey, Supervisor of the Sunnyvale Trailer Park, is doing his booze-addled best to promote voting amongst fellow Canadians in the upcoming federal elections on October 19.

Played by the legendary John Dunsworth, the sitcom legend joined with two Halifax media companies to develop the interactive website,

The site enables Mr. Lahey to answer questions from potential voters.

In true Trailer Park Boys style, Mr. Lahey cut a trademark drunken rant for a promotional video, which was unveiled, along with the website, late last week:

Given Trailer Park Boys enormous population amongst younger audiences, the video and site are especially hoped to increase participation by younger voters.

Meanwhile, the tenth season of Trailer Park Boys wrapped production this past summer. Look for it early next year on Netflix.

The Trailer Park Boys are currently busy touring the UK and Europe.

According to Mike Smith/Bubbles Twitter account, they are filming the tour for a multi-part on-the-road- style special (more info TBA) and a new Trailer Park Boys movie will begin production next year.
