It seems that Disney has recently released a number of upcoming releases especially in the front of Marvel. Big news is that Ant-Man has been slated for a sequel, Ant-Man and The Wasp is set for release on July 6, 2018. That puts the Ant-Man sequel right in the middle of Marvel's Phase 3. An end result does leave Captain Marvel slated for March 8, 2019 instead of November 2, 2018. Not only does this mean that Paul Rudd will be returning as Scott but Evangeline Lily is returning as The Wasp!

As we know from the comics Ant-Man and The Wasp work together a lot and now we will finally get to see it in the movies. We get to see Paul and Evangeline work together again; me, personally I enjoyed their chemistry on screen and I'm super excited to see together again. I definitely can't wait to see what Marvel has cooked up for these two fighting duos! When I first saw Ant-Man I thought The Wasp was already going to be introduced to us at some point in the movie as Scott was learning to hone his skills but we were left with a cliffhanger at the end, leaving us hoping that The Wasp would appear sometime soon and it looks we got our wish granted!

But this leaves me feeling rather conflicted now that Captain Marvel is being pushed back till 2019 to make room for Ant-Man and The Wasp. I was super excited to finally a stand-alone female superhero but now I'm bummed to have to wait until 2019 to see it. I'm hoping that with Captain Marvel it opens more doors into the MCU that we yet to see or explore, I mean Marvel is a pretty big universe.

How do you guys feel about "Captain Marvel" being pushed back for the "Ant-Man" sequel?
