After being well informed about season 6 of Game of Thrones, there is one thing I can most definitely confirm. This season, we will be finally coming face to face with the Tower of Joy, meaning that we will most likely also be coming face to face with the legendary fight that was staged there!
For those of you who do not know about the Tower of Joy, this is the place where Rhaegar Targaryen kept Lyanna Stark If the R+L=J theory is correct, she was kept here whilst she was pregnant so that she could prepare for the birth in secret. The fight here takes place between Eddard Stark, Howland Reed and their men against the Targaryen soldiers that guard the tower.
Does this mean we are going to catch a glimpse into whether or not Jon Snow truly is a Targaryen? I think it most definitely is. And if it's true, then he is far too important to be deceased and should most definitely be alive (Fun Fact: Kit Harington was spotted in costume and filming; however, the actors still insist that he is dead).
Not only have they chosen the location - the Castillo de Zafra in Guadalajara, Spain, but also the actors and actresses that will portray the younger versions of these characters that we all know so very well. For a little insight on who to expect next season, Sebastion Croft, will be playing Eddard Stark in the iconic fight scene to be had.
So how will this end? With joy for the creator of the R+L=J theory, or joy for those who found it completely and utterly ridiculous? Well, I suppose we'll find out next year...
