Back once again, in a very familiar role, Paul Reubens (a.k.a Pee-Wee Herman) has joined the cast of Gotham as The Penguin's/Oswald Cobblepot's father!

During the Warner Bros. TV panel at New York Comic-Con 2015, current "Penguin" actor (Robin Lord Taylor) announced that none other than Pee-Wee Herman would be playing his father on the hit comic-book based TV series!

"We just found out that I do have a father and he will be showing up very soon," Taylor said with excitement brewing in his voice, "and he will be played by none other than PAUL REUBENS! AKA PEE-WEE HERMAN, IS PLAYING ME DAD! What the hell! Oh my god!"

This will be Reubens' second time playing the Penguin's father, after briefly playing the same character in the sequel to Tim Burton's "Batman," titled Batman Returns, where the Penguin is the main villain of the film.

New episodes of 'Gotham' premiere every Monday, 8/7c, only on Fox.
