If you're a fan of FOX series Sleepy Hollow and/or Bones, chances are you know about the upcoming crossover episodes airing October 29. Fans at New York Comic-Con's Sunday Sleepy Hollow panel certainly knew, and one took it upon herself to ask executive producer and writer Raven Metzner whether there might be a crossover with another famous FOX series: The X-Files.

Unsurprisingly, the crowd erupted into cheers at the question, and Metzner himself was pretty taken with the idea.

"That would be awesome," he said, revealing that there are a lot of X-Files fans in the Sleepy Hollow writers' room. "If the Bones crossover does well, X might be the logical next step."

This isn't the first time fans have expressed interest in a crossover. The hashtag appeared on Twitter as early as March of 2014, after the official Sleepy Hollow Twitter account posted a pic of showrunner Mark Goffman in front of a whiteboard that had the words "UFO sighting" on it. Imaginations started running wild, and since then various fans have shown their support for bringing the two shows together.

Of course, would only work if The X-Files gets another (full) season. As excited as we are to see Ichabod (Tom Mison) and Abbie (Nicole Beharie) share the screen with Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and Booth (David Boreanaz), we'd love even more to see what Mulder (David Duchovny) and Scully (Gillian Anderson) make of another crime-fighting duo who also specialize in the supernatural.

For now, be sure to tune into this coming Thursday, starting with Bones at 8 p.m., followed by Sleepy Hollow at 9 p.m.
