Actor, creative visionary, motivational speaker and alleged cannibal Shia LaBeouf was arrested last Friday night for public intoxication in Austin, Texas.

LaBeouf allegedly tried to cross against a “Don’t Walk” sign. When he was told by police officers to get out of the road, the 29-year-old refused and was subsequently taken into custody.

Eye witness Noah Hubbard said:

"The reason he got arrested originally is because he was jaywalking across the street over to [a bar there]. He got all in the cops' faces and they told him not to do that; he started cussing them out and stuff, he was clearly wide-eyed. He's clearly here for [Austin City Limits Festival] but I guess he just wanted to come party tonight and I guess he took it a little too hard."

Two days after his arrest, he posted the following cryptic message on Twitter:

I hope for his sake that the seemingly troubled star does indeed have someone to vent to. LaBeouf has never been secretive about his battles with substance abuse, finishing a stint in rehab just last year.

This was also not his first run-in with authorities, taken into custody last year after interrupting a performance of Cabaret. When he was asked to leave the theater, LaBeouf grew agitated and shouted at a security guard:

"F*** you. This is f****** bullsh**. Do you know my life? Do you know who the f*** I am? Do you know who I am?"

Shia is currently awaiting notice as to whether there's enough evidence to move forward against his latest charges.
