History repeats itself. We've heard it a thousand times; we've seen trends throughout human history return time and time again. Recently, I think we've become evermore fascinated with space and science fiction, akin to audience's fascination during the time of the original Star Wars trilogy. From films like Gravity, Interstellar and The Martian, to upcoming adventures like [Star Wars: Episode VII — The Force Awakens](tag:711158), it's clear that we've fallen in love with the stars all over again.

In the world of Video Games, we're probably more engaged with the concept of space in comparison with mainstream cinema. But the one event that encapsulates this love of space travel in our community is most definitely the highly anticipated release of No Mans Sky. Sean Murray has often cited Sci-Fi Movies as inspiration for his upcoming project, and in his most recent clip he talks about the impact that Star Wars had on him at a young age.

No Man's Sky - Sean Murray On Star Wars!

What's your favorite part of the Star Wars films? What's the moment that captured your imagination like no other? What is it that has you so insanely excited for the release date of Episode 7? Well, Sean Murray has taken a little bit of time to talk, not about No Man's Sky, but his love for a captivating Star Wars segment.

In the clip below you can see the man discuss the one moment of the original film that completely mesmerized him.

We can't help but liken his reaction to that of our excitement for No Mans Sky. The game is dangerously overhyped, that's for sure. But at the same time, it's the game that actually offers the experience of exploring universes like the ones we've glimpsed on the big screen. It's an exciting time for those of us who love science fiction and can't wait to see the return of Star Wars!
