Now, as we all know, James Bond has been portrayed by countless actors over the years, with the most recent iteration being played by Daniel Craig, the actor nobody knew they wanted as 007. Sadly however, his time must come to a close, presumably after Spectre, so who do I think could take up the mantle?
If you've seen [Mad Max: Fury Road](tag:41445), you'll know why Tom Hardy is almost perfect as a continuation of the much more stern, raw Bond that Daniel Craig has introduced. Hardy is stunningly talented actor, lending his name to a Batman villain, the re-boot of a legendary franchise, and his upcoming film Legendary. He's capable of handling any role, and as proved by his part in Inception, is more than capable of both taking on an action scene, as well as providing some of the dry humor Bond brings to the table.
With his most recent film, [The Man From U.N.C.L.E.](tag:44548), Cavill proved that he is more than capable of taking on the suave-spy role, and a particularly British one at that. He's already proved his steel (Geddit?) in the DC Universe as an extremely talented actor, and he's got just the right amount of charm, wit, and good looks to pull off 007.
This Walking Dead star is charming, rugged, and a wit of legendary proportions. He's basically James Bond already! After his somewhat risky casting in The Walking Dead, Lincoln has more than proved his skill, and could easily play both the arrogant, self centered Bond, or the darker, more broken path that Daniel Craig has taken the character down.
So, that's my choices for the next actor who could take up the mantle of 007. Be sure to leave a comment, or even a follow, and thanks for reading!
