In less than a week, Marty McFly will be arriving in 2015. Exactly one day before, the 30th Anniversary box set of the Back to the Future Trilogy will be arriving. I've come across a lot of people wondering exactly what the box set is going to include. Well, that's what I'm here to tell you.

With the Anniversary box set, they'll be, of course, including all three movies but they will be Blu-Ray (or dvd if you so choose), which is the first time these particular movies will be on that format, along with Digital HD UltraViolet which is a Blu-Ray exclusive. A bonus disc will also be included with the trilogy which will have more than two hours content including behind the scenes, deleted scenes, Q and A with Marty himself, a bunch of archival featurettes, and music videos.

In addition to the trilogy and bonus disc, the set will also include the complete animated series which has never before been released. That in itself is awesome seeing as I was far too young to watch it when it aired on TV. A 64 page book entitled Back to the Future: A Visual History. And to top it all off, all of this, and more, will be coming in a light-up Flux Capacitor box!

Now, besides the release of this box set, the brilliant minds behind Back to the Future are re-releasing all three movies out in theaters on October 21st. For many of us fans, this will be our first time being able to see these movies in theaters. What is even better, at least for video game geeks, is that TellTale Games is also has already released the Complete Back to the Future Video Game for the PS4. AND, on October 16th, Universal Music Enterprises will be reissuing an all-new 30th Anniversary picture disc vinyl soundtrack, which will be available in all stores.

The pricing for the Complete Adventures, which is the Blu-Ray box set. (Video Game and music reissue not included) is being quoted at $87.97 on Considering all of the never before seen content which is being included in this set, I'm actually kind of surprised that it isn't more expensive! But I'm not complaining. The Video Game is for sale for $19.99 at Gamestop, probably less if you decide to get it pre-owned. I am unsure of the price of the soundtrack reissue but whatever the price, I am sure it will be worth it.

The Box Set is set to release on October 20th, 2015. So get out there! Go watch the movies on the big screen on the 21st! Listen to the soundtrack! Play the game! Enjoy one of the greatest 80's movies of all time!
