If there are two things in the world that go well together, it's Mass Effect and cosplay! Bioware created some truly remarkable designs; designs that have rivaled the accomplishments of the team that brought us Star Wars. Since the first game's release date in 2007, cosplayers around the world have been inspired to recreate some of their favorite characters from the series.

With Halloween coming up and 2016 promising the release date of Mass Effect: Andromeda, now seems like a great time to celebrate some of the most remarkable accomplishments in the realm of cosplay! These guys and girls will help you realize your cosplaying potential, while simultaneously making you ludicrously ashamed of your Halloween costume.

While We Wait For Mass Effect: Andromeda - Let's Celebrate Some Cosplay!

Above you can see one of the most astounding examples of cosplay you're ever likely to come across. I seriously recommend you check out some more of her work, because this Fem Shepard is but the tip of the ice berg. Freya Willia stated that this particular outfit took two long years to finish, and with her looking so completely badass in it, I wouldn't be surprised if she went to work in it. Seriously, I'd attend any event with this kickass gear!

Next up we have the excellent team, comprised of ChrixDesign & Øyvind Krogsrud, who took on the challenge of male Commander Shepard and the beautiful Liara. From their clothes down to their weapons, these two have nailed Bioware's designs so beautifully. You can see why cosplayers, like these, have a hard time navigating game conferences without being surrounded! Seriously, I know friends that have been attacked at conferences because they looked so damn cool!

Tali'Zorah is probably one of the greatest characters that Bioware has ever created. She's shrouded in mystery, fiercely intelligent, and a total badass. Nebulaluben has portrayed her so well in the image below, demonstrating Tali's love for the stars. This is kind of how I watched Mass Effect as I played it, and it makes me pine for [Mass Effect: Andromeda](tag:2683449) so bad!

Next up we have the remarkable cosplay by Jessika F who basically looks exactly like Miranda in this absolutely killer outfit! As I look at what I have prepared for Halloween I feel more and more ashamed as I check out these awesome cosplayers. Can anyone find a more perfect representation of Miranda than this? If so, let us know in the comments!

When it comes to Mass Effect's greatest characters, we can't really leave out two individuals. The first one is Thane. Thane is one of the most intriguing characters in this developer's oeuvre, and ManticoreEx has absolutely nailed his look below! Just look at the detail on that jacket! And the eyes! And the gun! Seriously, there's a reason why the gaming world acknowledges that Mass Effect and Dragon Age have some of the best cosplayers!

Last but not by any means least, we have Garrus. Garrus is probably the most adored side character in gaming history. Everyone who played Mass Effect got along well with him and the amount of people that have cosplayed as him is beyond impressive. But for me, this was the most remarkable example I could stumble upon. Sarrah Wilkinson has blown us away with this portrayal of Garrus and we urge you to check out her site! Awesome stuff.
