1. Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2" - Villain & Star-Lord's Father BY Dustin Crawford

Whether you’re a Guardians of The Galaxy fan since the comic book days or a newcomer aboard the Milano ship. If you’ve been anywhere near a PC lately you’ve likely heard the rumours and speculations about who Peter Quill’s father is and who the new villain will be in Guardians vol. 2. Newcomer Dustin Crawford has some pretty great theories about both, and if he turns out to be right then vol.2 is going absolutely out of this world (again).

2. Why This Is A Great Time To Be A Movie Fan BY Charlie Reed

I’ve been a fan of movies for as long as I can remember, but I have to agree that there’s never been a better time to be a film lover than right now. Just look at Marvel and DC’s lineup for the next two years if you don’t believe me. Still not convinced? Take a look at some of the films on Oscar watch already. And if that’s not enough, Universal has just announced that they’ll be developing a ‘Giant Monster Cinematic Universe’. If that’s still not enough to make you believe, check out this stellar first post from Charlie Reed about why movie fans are currently living in a golden era.

3. Prometheus 2, and How a Subpar Prequel Brought a New Fire to the Alien Franchise BY Sierra Marie Wallace

To be perfectly honest, I didn’t have a problem with Prometheus when it came out. Sure it had it’s flaws, but as a long time fan of the Alien films I recognised and did appreciate what it was trying to do for the franchise! Even if it didn’t have all the answers, the film caught our attention and made us ask questions. Now, with two new films on the horizon it feels like good time to revisit the failed prequel that was Prometheus and ask new questions. Check out Sierra Marie Wallace’s stellar first post about the Prometheus, Alien, and where she thinks this beloved franchise will go with Prometheus 2 and Alien: Paradise Lost.

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls. Gather up and listen carefully, for Anna Neyman is about to tell you a story. In her first Moviepilot entry, Anna takes the gloves on and dives right into what she thinks is working and what should be signs of concern for AHS fans going for you.
