For my second Funko Pop Review, I'm bringing you the second Pop I ever bought, The Dark Knight Returns' Batman!

The Dark Knight Trilogy is possibly the greatest Superhero movie series of all time, but I don't need to tell you that, because if you're a living, breathing human, you should darn well be aware by now.

The Review:

The original Batman Pop was the first Funko Pop ever, back when they were being called "Funko Force 2.0". Batman is also the character Funko Pop likes to release the most! There are literally dozens of different Batman Pops, both repaints and different molds.

This Pop is from The Dark Knight Returns series, which also featured Bane and Catwoman from the same movie. However, later, The Joker and The Joker in his Bank Robber mask were also released as Pops in the series and the series was renamed "The Dark Knight Trilogy". Therefor, this Pop has been sold in two different packages, but the figure is the same in each, and currently, there is no real value difference between the two boxes.

This Pop is incredibly detailed, and despite the fact that the figure doesn't feature much in the way of different shades of black and dark grey, you can still clearly see all the detail sculpted into it.

The belt and the sculpted mask are also great additions.

There just isn't much to complain about in this Pop.

There is a variant of this Pop from the 2012 San Deigo Comic Con, which is a "patina" painted version (which currently sells for nearly $200 - yikes!).

RATING: 10/10

Pros: Amazing detail. Perfect representation of the movie outfit. So awesome, it couldn't be contained to one series. A must own for any one who loves The Dark Knight Trilogy (which would be all living humans).

Cons: Currently 1 of 857 different Batman Pops Funko has released, meanwhile we currently don't even have a freaking Lex Luthor Pop.

Current Estimated Value (Mint-in-Box): $13.00 (According to Pop Price Guide)
