Friends, this is my 100th article for Moviepilot. For those of you reading that following me, thank you so much for continuing to follow. For those who are new, thank you for taking the time to read. Today I decided to write about one of my favorite things, movie music. In my opinion, movie music is what takes a C grade movie to a B grade movie; and obviously a B grade movie to an A movie. Let's begin with one of my favorites and a more recent. one

1. Marvel's The Avengers (2012)

Avengers Assemble

You may or may not have forgotten how awesome this scene is. But that dramatic moment after the Hulk gives the Chitauri vessel a one hitter quitter and The Avengers' theme music starts up as they pose together, which then, in my opinion, comes together as one of the greatest scenes in comic book movie history. Maybe even one of the best in any movie history.

Music by Alan Silvestri

2. Spider-Man (2002)

I know this movie seems old to a lot of my readers, but for me, it's like it made its cinematic debut yesterday. This movie as a whole is one of the greatest comic book hero movies ever made. It was completely ahead of its time, and the ending theme is one of the greatest pre-credit scenes of all-time!

Music by Danny Elfman

3. Matrix Reloaded (2003)

I'm now going to taking it waaaay back my friends. If you were born under a bridge, grew up under one and now currently reside under one and somehow haven't seen this scene from Matrix reloaded. You have fully and truly missed out on some of the beauty of life. This by far was a movie way ahead of its time. The Burly Brawl scene between Neo and Agent Smith's was only made greater by its unbelievable soundtrack

Music by Juno Reactor vs Don Davis.

4. The Dark Knight (2008)

I don't care who you are. We all know this is one of the best movies ever made. And of course the soundtrack was amazing. But this ending with Gary Oldman saying, "He's a watchful protector, a dark knight!" was amazing with the Dark Knight soundtrack rolling in.

Music by Hans Zimmer.

5. Star Wars Episode III (2005)

And of course, one of the most epic scenes of all time. "Rise Lord Vader" The music playing in the background makes for one of the greatest and most dramatic scenes in Star Wars franchise history. Thank you John Williams for never letting me, or anyone who loves Star Wars, down.

If you've read this far, please feel free to follow me friends. Thanks for reading!
