Director Matthew Vaughn is known for two things: absolute commitment to a project and never directing sequels. That's why the sequel he's currently writing for Kingsman: The Secret Service is historic: Vaughn had been attached to direct X-Men: Days of Future Past but left in favor of Kingsman and the passion he had for it, and nothing is going to stand in his way of directing his first sequel ever. Taron Egerton is attached to star in Lionsgate's Robin Hood and reprise his role as "Eggsy Unwin" in Vaughn's Kingsman sequel, both of which planned to start filming in spring of 2016. After a brief fight, The Hollywood Reporter has announced Vaughn has secured Egerton and will film in April of 2016 while Lionsgate will hold off until the end of summer to film Robin Hood.

Are you excited to see the Kingsmen back in action? Do you think a sequel can top the originals success? Sound off in the comments, and thanks for reading!
