Whether it be board, original, or video everyone loves games, no matter what age you are. My favorite type of games though are video games, because I have grown with them and there are so many amazing titles in this piece of the gameworld. There have been a majority of video games that have been relaunch and even created for every generation, which brings you my readers to today's discussion. Note: There will be spoilers and this is my opinion.
The Arkham Series
The Arkham series from Rocksteady Studios have been a batastic joyride all the way through and the way they use Batman is just perfect. The only game that wasn’t such a delight to me was Arkham Origins, because it takes a new villain that was much needed and makes a twist on him that is unnecessary. The only adjustments that this series could make are better multiplayer servers and the concept of it. I know that Arkham Knight was supposed to be the last game of this series, but that doesn’t mean we can’t go to Bludhaven, especially with the way that Batman: Bad Blood is promoting Dick Grayson.
Ratchet & Clank
Every gaming platform has its own exclusive titles that can’t be touched by any competitors, and Playstation has had some of the best exclusives, such as Uncharted, Twisted Metal, God of War, and Ratchet & Clank. One of the first and best pairs in gaming history, this pair has always delivered explosive and fun content that could go even further. With the release of the new Ratchet & Clank movie, the series will grow vastly in fans, which gives the series the best time to give their next game their all, with a new and impressive story along with a whacky online experience. #PleaseRelaunchJakandDexter!
When EA decided to add to their gold mine back in 2002, they also added more to their variety of games and a major competitor for Activision. It does takes some time to find a enemy, but that is overshine by their beautiful maps, and story, and a variety of interactables in these maps, that allow you to fly, drive, and break stuff. The Battlefield series has shown us the fans that there is room for change with the release of Battlefield Hardline in March, which remastered cop games and put new stunning things into the series. The only thing that this series could adopt is the ability to create maps and others things that can be playable.
Sport games are not all the same, but titles like Madden and 2k release a new game every year with a couple of new things, and expect the world to go out and buy them, even though some do. I personally have always thought to myself, why don’t people just change the roster and call it a day. There really is nothing to add to the experience of these series, but a low price, because I mean what are you really paying for? Better Graphics?
The [Assassin's Creed](tag:437814) series started out very unique and has still maintain its essence, with a stroll into past histories and epic characters. After Assassin’s Creed 3 though, the other Assassin's Creed games started to copy the sorrow, story, and fractions of Ezio, Connor, and Altair personalities. Assassin’s Creed Unity drew the last line for me, because I felt as if the developers just stopped caring for their fans, with so many bugs, unnecessary drawbacks, and overpowered mechanics. Assassin’s Creed Syndicate will probably be good, with the assassin versing the one enemy that every assassin in its series versus, the Templars and getting a new invention. I think this series need to have a big change in it, so that it could possibly bring back its past gamers by having the assassin verse a new enemy that challenges the whole timeline for once. Online would also help this cause, by making a sandbox styled game like GTA, and the developers should go back to simple mechanics.
