When it comes to the release of new promotional work, companies release teaser trailers, trailers, teasers for trailers, along with posters and many pieces of merchandise Star Wars Episode 7: The Force Awakens is no exception. Yesterday, the poster for the movie was released, and it is safe to say that everyone is very excited to see it!

But there are a few questions that come along with it!

1. Where is Luke?

Don't be upset.
Don't be upset.

The farmer boy's story is apparently continued in this movie, (some 30 years later though) as he leads the new Jedi order. Leia is ruling as leader of Rebel Alliance and Han, well I don't think he is staying at home watching the kids. On this poster we see old favourites, R2-D2 and C3-PO and of course Chewbacca, Han Solo and Princess Leia. And not to mention the Millenium Falcon!

Does Luke play a lesser role in this film than what we'd anticipated?

Is his storyline carried through one of the new three characters: Finn, Poe Dameron and Rey —The latter possibly being more important than Finn, allegedly the Jedi, in this film.

It is mysterious as to whether or not Finn is actually a Jedi. He is certainly wielding the saber in some promotional work, however, due to the mystery surrounding Abrams' latest piece, we probably won't know until December 15th!

2. Who is the Main Character?

The three new main characters are scattered across the poster under the shadow of Kylo Ren, however, there is no clear indication of who the story is specifically about. Going from the sizing of the stand-ups, it would be the female Rey. But aren't the Star Wars movies about Jedi and Sith? So it would be Finn? Well by the looks of it, Poe isn't of much importance. However, interest in the character is high — his LEGO set is selling quicker than the others.

Who doesn't love these two?

Maybe the plans weren't COMPLETELY Destroyed.
Maybe the plans weren't COMPLETELY Destroyed.

This was the first thing I noticed when looking at this poster! That big floating sphere on the right hand side. Have the First Order off-shoot built another Planet Killer? Could this be a new base for Han and Chewie to come and destroy? What I will say, is that it has received a few upgrades over the 30 years. Rather than just floating mysteriously through space, it seems to have a gigantic thruster on the back. Possibly rendering it more than a moon of Endor!

So from the looks of it, this poster still leaves a few question marks about Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens. However, I think we all know that it is going to be brilliant! Just look at that Wookie!
