Hello, wonderful people of the world-wide-web! I hope that each person who finds his or herself reading this article understands that what they are about to read is something spectacular. It is something sensational. It is, dare I say, something amazing.

(Let's Go)
(Let's Go)

Since 2002 Marvel's beloved character, Spider-Man, has graced our screens with his presence. Fans have seen the wall crawler battle villains like Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, The Lizard, and Electro. They have watched him grow in various different parts of life like high school, college, and a working class job. In addition to these things, fans have also seen Spidey engage in romantic relationships with Mary Jane Watson and Gwen Stacy. All of this is wonderful, and I might add, quite crucial to depict this character accurately, but something still seems to be missing. Something still does not sit well with die-hard fans of Spider-Man. That something...is about to change.

(All aboard the hype train!!!)
(All aboard the hype train!!!)

What seems like eons ago, Marvel movie lovers were ecstatic with the news that their ever-so-loved wall crawler was back at home where he belonged. This is indeed wonderful, but the question remains: Will Marvel and Sony be able to pull it off? Will these two Megacorporations be able to do the character justice? As it stands, fans still have yet to see any footage of their new Spidey; what is worse lies in the fact that hardly any information surrounding the character in this new endeavor has been released at all. Those two reasons alone are enough to cause a sense of skepticism and discomfort. For all of those sick of waiting around to see this magnificent character portrayed in a wonderful film adaptation, I declare to you this very day...The wait is over.

If you have watched the video above (and I desperately hope that you have) you have just witnessed under two minutes of what could potentially be the best live-action Spider-man adaptation to date. What is the best part? This series has been executed by fans. These guys understand the mythology surrounding the character. They have researched each and every story arc relevant to modern Spidey lovers. They genuinely care for this character and what he means to people across the world, and in order to make it happen they reached out to their own by means of a Kickstarter and raised enough funds to make an epic, five-part web-series airing on YouTube in February of next year.

(I mean, did you SEE that Carnage bit at the end??)
(I mean, did you SEE that Carnage bit at the end??)

This teaser is packed full of great easter egg material and goodies. It's enough to get any fan excited. But the best bits and pieces, to me, stand in the spirit of the trailer. Made Legit Media has proved that they are not afraid to hit the nitty gritty with this character. Originally this channel released a powerful six minute short, test driving the character to see what they could do with him. The response was overwhelming so naturally they decided to move forward with this current series. You can watch the "Pilot" episode here. But enough about that, let's move on to the content inside this teaser trailer.

(Anybody catch Kraven???)
(Anybody catch Kraven???)

How excited are you for this one? Personally, I have been waiting to see Kraven ever since the first Spider-Man movie. I can't wait to see how Spidey will handle this master hunter. Good luck Spidey, you're going to need it!

(Black Doc Oc? I can dig it.)
(Black Doc Oc? I can dig it.)

The second villain teased in this trailer that I would like to address is Doctor Octopus. I absolutely love Spider-Man 2. There are not many, if any, things that I would change in that movie; however, I am beyond excited to see him again.

(Kingpin in Sider-Man? Is it Christmas already?!)
(Kingpin in Sider-Man? Is it Christmas already?!)

Moving right along, I simply want to address the fact that Kingpin will finally interact with Spider-Man. Let us just take a moment.

There...ok, I think I'm good.

(I just...Goblin looks like....Goblin)
(I just...Goblin looks like....Goblin)

Next on the list is the Green Goblin. I am more than satisfied with the glimpse of Goblin we see in this teaser. He actually looks like a non-cheesy rendition of what a real, cinematic, Green Goblin should look like. Simply amazing.

(Carnage...I reapeat...CARNAGE)
(Carnage...I reapeat...CARNAGE)

Last, but definitely not least, is a fan favorite that most fans have wanted to see on screen for years now: Carnage. One can only speculate that if that little bit at the end is even remotely close to what is to come with this character, things may not go so smoothly for good ole Spidey in this series.

All in all I think that this series is going to be insanely good for something fan-made and in addition totally satisfying to even the most die-hard Spider-Man fans out there. Made Legit Media could have something wonderful up their sleeve with this web-series. I say all of this to say, I had the privilege of being a part of this project, and let me reiterate, I think it will be a fan favorite that leaves us all cheering in the end. This is not said with a prideful heart of somebody trying to promote personal content, but as a true fan who genuinely cares about this wonderful character. With all of that said, enough from me. What do YOU think? Will Marvel Knights: Spider-Man live up to the hype? Are you excited to watch it? Let me know in the polls below!
