John Carpenters 'Halloween' is quite arguably one of the most iconic horror films in cinematic history. The cinematography, music, acting and direction created the perfect mix of suspense and atmosphere that still terrifies audiences to this day. I have always wondered what it would have been like to experience the film back in its original heyday, but now you can!
I wandered upon a vintage audio recording of a live audience reaction to the final moments of 'Halloween.' This recording was taken from one of the first screenings of the flick back in 1978. The audience perfectly summarizes the terror that they must have felt back in the day. Take a look at the screening audio below!
The original 'Halloween' is one of my favorite movies ever. I absolutely love it, and I loved this video. It made me feel like I was right in the middle of the audience back in 1978. I especially love the audience reaction when Michael Myers sits up behind Laurie Strode. Also, the reaction that the audience has when Michael disappears at the end is priceless!
So what did you think? Did you find the audio recording to be cool? Sound off in the comments below and let me know what your favorite 'Halloween' scare is!
