Disturbed is an understatement of my mind

Considering that the majority of my movie collection consists of extreme movies, I thought it is about time to list my current top 10 gut wrenching movies.

If you're a horror fan or just into bizarre films, then i'm sure you've at least heard about A Serbian Film, well here's a list of some more extreme movies that you may not have heard about.

The following movies consists of extreme gore, violence and sexual nature that can be too much, even for someone with a strong stomach.

10. Martyrs (2008)

Lets start off with an extreme movie, a little on the tame side, Martyrs.

A young woman's quest for revenge against the people who kidnapped and tormented her as a child leads her and a friend, who is also a victim of child abuse, on a terrifying journey into a living hell of depravity.

Although very tame compared to a lot of others in its genre, Martyrs will surely leave an impact on you, from the use of extreme and unique methods of torturing, to a surprising religious turn of events.

9. Visceral: Between The Ropes Of Madness (2012)

Visceral is a Gore-Bondage movie, picture 50 Shades of Grey meets Hostel and you will have an idea of what Visceral has to offer.

A boxer loses the biggest fight of his life. He slowly finds himself, giving up his dream and finds that life is not worth living. At least, those lives around him are not worthy of life. He steps through and unleashes an entity that torments him and guile's him to do unspeakable acts of torture and murder.

Although lacking in the storyline department, Visceral offers great visuals from the gore to great camera movements.

8. Begotten (1990)

A bizarre, incredibly gory parable about life, death, and re-birth Begotten is expressed entirely in grainy black-and-white imagery and told without benefit of dialogue.

Watching Begotten without knowing what it is about before hand will certainly leave you confused. Even after finishing the movie, you still wouldn't be able to explain the story line. To simply put it, the movie is about Gods killing and torturing themselves in odd ways, in order to be reborn again. If you're wanting an in-depth storyline, then Begotten is not the one to watch.

7. Aftermath (1994)

Aftermath is a short film where a man working in a morgue mutilates and defiles one of the corpses.

Although short, Aftermath will burn itself into the back of your mind forever. It is pretty much a medical film for necrophiles.

6. Nekromantik (1987)

Nekromantik; bringing cold, stiff love for both you and your partner to share.

A street sweeper who cleans up after grisly accidents brings home a full corpse for him and his wife to enjoy sexually, but is dismayed to see that his wife prefers the corpse over him.

5. Guinea Pig 2: Flowers of Flesh and Blood (1985)

Now we step into the top end of extreme cinema, and to start it off, the second instalment of the Guinea Pig series: Flowers of Flesh and Blood.

A sadistic Samurai kidnaps a woman and then dismembers her slowly, trying to turn her body into a work of art. The lack of storyline seems to be what throws people off, it's just pointless mutilation.

The movie has little dialect, but makes up for it in great practical effects and somewhat comedic scenes and sound effects.

It is not advised to watch while under the influence of drugs, like Charlie Sheen, who reportedly watched Guinea Pig 2 on a pirated V/H/S, to then believe he has just watched a genuine snuff film which he then reported to the FBI. After investigations, it was made clear that it was nothing but practical effects.

4. Salò, or the 120 Days of Sodom (1975)

Four fascist libertines round up nine adolescent boys and girls and subject them to a hundred and twenty days of physical, mental and sexual torture.

Salò talks about numerous controversial topics including Rape, Pedophilia, Torture and Coprophagia (consumption of feces)

3. American Guinea Pig: Bouquet of Guts and Gore (2014)

In an attempt to out do the Japanese splatter classic Flowers of Flesh and Blood. Stephen Biro (Founder of Unearthed Films) and Marcus Koch (director and special effects artist) team up to create a splatter masterpiece.

Two women are abducted by a group of snuff filmmakers and brought into a Hellish nightmare of unmistakable brutality, viciousness and destruction that will leave every viewer shocked, amazed and awestruck.

AGP doesn't just out do Flowers of Flesh and Blood by having 2 victims, the gore and the storyline excels that of Flowers of Flesh and blood. And with a sequel to come, I can't wait to see what they have in store for us.

2. August Underground's Mordum (2003)

The second instalment of Toetag Picture's August Underground Trilogy, Mordum seems to be the one that grosses everybody out.

The basic storyline consists of a trio who decide to have some fun recording themselves torturing, raping and killing random victims.

Not much to say about this film other than, if you can get past the horrible quality (used for the element of realism) and want to really see how much gore and violence you can handle then this surely will test that.

1. Slow Torture Puke Chamber (2010)

Slow Torture Puke Chamber is the third instalment of Lucifer Valentine's Vomit Gore Trilogy, yes that's right, vomit and gore.

A bulimic prostitute talks about her deranged childhood while being sexually tortured. This storyline is the same for each film, but gets worse as the films go on.

I chose Slow Torture Puke Chamber over the other films as this one had more of an impact on me. The puking alone is enough to put anyone off the films, but sticking with them and it is a gore orgy with excellent practical effects done by Marcus Koch which any gore hound will love.

Slow Torture Puke Chamber includes an extremely graphic baby rape scene which is 10x more graphic than that of A Serbian Film. The baby scene involves rape, dismemberment, a blender and of course, vomit.

Grossed out yet? Any films you think should be in the list? If so let me know, i'm always looking for more gross movies.
