(Warning: spoilers for Batman: Arkham Knight lie below. I told you to go play it. Why haven't you?)

Let me get this out of the way to begin with - the Batman Arkham series has been one hell of a ride. Potentially, some of the best video games I have ever played belong to that franchise. If Rocksteady are by some small chance reading this, thank you.

Over the past few days, I've been scouring the both the internet and the game itself in order to bring you guys an easter egg that's worth you clicking on my post for. Well, after some internet research, and a little in-game exploration, I have one.

What is it, exactly? Well, I won't claim to have found it first, because I'm sure someone already has, but it would appear as though Black Canary and The Huntress both exist within the Rocksteady universe.

How do I know this? Well, the evidence stacks up in the offices beneath the main Clock Tower hub on Bleake Island. Walk over to the computer in this corner, that Batman is standing in front of in this picture:

Hit that "A" button (if you have the right gaming console) or the "X" button (if you have the wrong gaming console) to use the computer. You'll see this screen appear on your TV:

In case you didn't know, the "Birds of Prey" are a trio of female superheroes in the DC comics, consisting of Batgirl, The Huntress, and Black Canary. If you zoom in on the chat window, you can clearly see Batgirl (now going by her other name of Oracle) communicating with The Huntress:

She tells The Huntress to stay on the mainland, and make sure that the evacuees from Gotham City are safe. When she says "find BC", she is obviously directing Huntress to locate Black Canary. Black Canary's cartoon 'profile picture' is also displayed in the bottom of the chat window.

Both characters have prominent roles in the Arrow TV series. If you haven't watched it, go do it. Now.

So there you have it. A pretty cool easter egg from Batman: Arkham Knight that might carry implications for future games. But what do you think? Will we ever see Black Canary or The Huntress eventually appear in the Rocksteady universe? I think it'd be cool to see them both in a Green Arrow game, seeing as they're historically more affiliated with that character.

If you want to read my post on why I think the next Rocksteady game should belong to Green Arrow, you can read it here.

Leave your thoughts in the comments, or take the poll, folks! Until next time :)
