Someone can claim they are the best there is, but until push comes to shove, no one will know. Sometimes it takes a true battle to decide a person's worth and to see who is truly the best. This is often true for superheroes, as we will likely see in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice and Captain America: Civil War.

Previously, I have done two major polls to see which of the Avengers, Earth's Mightiest Heroes, would survive in fights against each other in an attempt to find out which one is the best. Round One eliminated Captain America, Hawkeye, Scarlet Witch and surprisingly the Hulk. Round Two eliminated Black Widow and Iron Man.

Finally, after thousands of votes were cast by our readers, two finalists enter this final round. Cast your vote to decide who would win to become the strongest Avenger of them all.

You decide who will win in this final face-off of...

Thor Odinson vs. Vision

The two finalists are Thor, the Norse god of Thunder who wields the mighty Mjolnir, and Vision, the crazy powerful Vibranium Android who has an Infinity Stone on his head. It's no surprise that these two made it to the final round - they are both immensely strong, they have weapons with practically indescribable amounts of power and they are the only two Avengers (in the movies) whose abilities / powers are Cosmic.

Plus, they are the only two Avengers who have capes, so that is cool too.

Sorry, Ed....
Sorry, Ed....

It is now up to you to decide who will win this fight. The fate of these two heroes is in your hands. But first, let's consider the abilities that each Avenger has to offer for this final duel...

This God of Thunder, being over one thousand years old, is experienced, trained, mighty and ready to fight. Thor Odinson, Prince of Asgard, has certainly had at least 10x more than a person's typical share of fighting, having warded off species most humans have never even heard of. He is strong, mighty and always determined to come out of a fight victorious.

Thor's vast array of Asgardian abilities were inherited from his father Odin, and include superhuman strength, speed, agility, durability, stability and stamina, in addition to his Asgardian healing factor, weather control and ability to live a long time. But Thor's true weapon is Mjolnir, his hammer that he is able to wield perfectly and with ease in almost any fight. The hammer is considered to be the centerpiece of his abilities, especially when considering that he is generally the only one who can lift it.

One could easily argue that Thor's lightning could just fry Vision, but would it really be that easy? When Thor tried to fry Iron Man's suit, it only boosted the suit's energy. This may work the same for Vision, or it may just end him. But, without a doubt, Mjolnir would serve as Thor's greatest tool in this fight.

Let's get the big stuff out right off the bat. Vision is made from Vibranium, the strongest metal on Earth, and is powered by the Mind Stone, one of the six strongest sources of power in the Universe. He was created with one purpose: good. Vision knows when something is good and needs to be done and will do anything and everything to make sure it is done right - even if it means killing the person who poses the threat.

One of the coolest parts about Vision is his android body, which gives him both enhanced durability and synthetic cell generation to help patch him up almost instantly. He also has density manipulation, which means he can change his density at will to make him heavier or lighter, giving him enhanced strength, levitation and the ability to move through walls. Plus, he can hack into and corrupt any computer system, and he can shoot a powerful laser beam from the Infinity Stone on his head. This walking, talking supercomputer is truly the ultimate match for any foe.

What may be Vision's greatest advantage in this duel (besides the Mind Stone) is the fact that he is one of the few other beings who can lift Mjolnir, Thor's hammer. Taking away Thor's greatest weapon may completely derive the Thunder god of his number one tool. Or would Thor just be able to summon the hammer back into his hand? Either way, Vision has an Infinity Stone on his head, which is arguably just as strong (if not stronger) than Mjolnir.

Now that you have seen all there is to know, it is time to decide. Do you choose Thor Odinson, the God of Thunder, or Vision, the Android made of Vibranium, to win this fight? You decide!
