It might not even be Halloween yet, but it's never too early to start talking Christmas movies—especially when the movie in question is instant classic Elf.
As the ever-enthused Buddy the Elf, Will Ferrell undoubtedly stole the the show, but the festive film also had a stacked supporting cast. You really can't go wrong with the combined talents of James Caan, Peter Dinklage, and Zooey Deschanel, but there's another key member of the cast who we haven't seen all over huge TV shows like New Girl and Game of Thrones.
That would be Daniel Tay, who played Buddy's half-brother and eventual pal Michael. At their first meeting, though, he had to put up with way too much energy from the fully grown man in an elf costume.
Considering it's been a solid 12 years since Elf made the journey to theaters from the North Pole, you'd assume that Daniel has grown up a little bit. But, you'll be happy to see that he's taken after another child actor, and completely Neville Longbottomed.
Not that he was ever particularly awkward, but check out Danny all grown up!
Here's what little Michael looks like now
Sadly, there's not much info about him now, and Wikipedia claims he wrapped his acting career in 2009.
Still, we like to think that he's kept in touch with his Elf castmates and even gets together for an impromptu spaghetti dinner with plenty of chocolate syrup and maple syrup.
