We all have those days when we are just feeling a little bit low or under the weather! This is a list of 20 movies that will perk you up!

1. The Holiday

I am not one for 'rom-coms', but The Holiday is such a feel-good and funny movie, it could make anyone smile!

2. Up

As much as there are so many moments in this movie that will make you cry, you come away feeling really chipper indeed!

3. Ever After: A Cinderella Story

This movie, starring Drew Barrymore, is possibly one of my favourites. I think it really captures the imagination and it feels like a magical retelling of Cinderella for adults, but with all the innocence of the childrens movie.

4. Aladdin

Or... whatever your favourite childhood movie is! It reverts you back to the days when you were care-free and a big treat was popping a movie on in bed!

5. The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel

I was dubious when I decided to watch this movie, but due to the all-star cast, I thought I would check it out. I am so pleased I did! It is such a feel-good and heartwarming movie that is now up there with some of my favourites!

6. The Breakfast Club

I must say, I am a little biased with this movie - you will always see it on a 'favourites' list of mine. However, The Breakfast Club really is a true feel-good film and I would recommend it to anyone.

7. The Girl Next Door

What a good movie, that's all I can say! Also, not to be confused with the 2007 movie of the same name (that is not feel-good at all!)

8. The Help

As much as the subject matter of this movie is not a positive thing, as you follow the story you really feel like you are part of the triumph and satisfaction the heroes feel at the end!

9. The Pursuit of Happyness

Yes, you will cry at this movie, but in the end you really do feel so pleased! The story of this fathers struggle to provide a good life for his son is so heart-felt and also very interesting.

10. Finding Neverland

I simply adore this movie. Based on J.M. Barrie as he writes Peter Pan, and an all-star cast, I am not quite sure how this movie could ever go wrong!

Thanks for checking out this list! Let me know if there are any movies you watch to 'get happy'! Also, if you do check out any of these movies, let me know your thoughts, and I hope you feel better soon!
