While everyone knows what the old action badasses of The Expendables are up to, there are plenty of other seasoned action stars out there that are kicking ass like they always have! I feel like these former legends are taking away from the other stars that don't need a series of movies just so they can keep working, and it's about time someone pointed out some of the rest of the people who are still able to kick ass in the spotlight. So without further ado, let's take a look at the older action stars that can still hold their own, despite being able to apply for AARP.
1. Liam Neeson
Liam Neeson is one of the original badasses, and he's still at it despite being 63 years old. Still able to crush windpipes, find and kill people, and use his certain set of skills to get out of sticky situations, Neeson isn't slowing down anytime soon.

2. Keanu Reeves
At 51, Keanu isn't the oldest actor still kicking ass, but he's overcome so much in his career. Through all of the criticism, his cripplingly sad life story, and the more than occasional bad movie, Keanu is still managing to kick ass in Hollywood.

3. Michael Keaton
Michael Keaton is, of course, Batman. There's no way around it. As long as this guy is alive, he'll always have a place in the action world, even at 64 years old.

4. Nicolas Cage
While Cage is known mainly for being off his rocker, he's still an amazing action star, and can hold his own in any action film. He hasn't been up to par in some of his later movies, but I would much rather go see this 51 year old badass than one of these newbie action stars any day.

5. Robert Downey Jr.
RDJ was never really much of an action star until he got older! He got the role of Iron Man when he was 43, and has been going strong until present day, at 50 years old exactly!

6. Michael Rooker
Michael Rooker is more of a fandom icon, but he's kicking ass all the same! At age 60, he still has as much traction in Hollywood as he's ever had, and can still kick ass with the best if them!

7. George Clooney
Another Batman (I don't care if he was the worst one, he's still Batman), there will always be a place in Hollywood for an action star as big as Clooney. At age 54, he's still kicking as much ass as ever, and looking good while doing it!

8. Denzel Washington
Even at age 60, Denzel Washington can give amazing speeches that can talk anyone down from a ledge, and has the ass kicking skills to back up everything he says. He's still one of the biggest leading men in Hollywood, and his age isn't slowing him down even a little bit.

9. Michael Chiklis
Michael Chiklis is one of the biggest TV action stars out there, and at 52, he can still bring the pain as well as anyone else. He's still the muscular tough guy he's always been, and he's not letting that go for a second.
Most recently seen kicking ass in: No Ordinary Family, Vegas, Sons of Anarchy, and Gotham
10. Brad Pitt
At age 51, Brad Pitt is still making women swoon and men jealous, and with badass style to boot! He's able to bring the classic action skills he always has, and nothing's changed that yet!
