There's still more to learn about Jesse Eisenberg's portrayal of Lex Luthor in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. From what we've been shown, Eisenberg will be showcasing a playboy aspect of Luthor on-screen. Eventually at some point in the film, Eisenberg will fulfill the iconic look of the bald Lex Luthor.

Even though he will be a foe to Superman, it's still yet to be confirmed if Luthor will act as the main antagonist in the upcoming film. According to Jesse Eisenberg, Lex Luthor and Bruce Wayne have a feud between them.

Eisenberg Must Be Condescending To Affleck

During an interview with Total Film Magazine, Eisenberg explained what exactly to expect from him on the big screen. We'll be seeing a whole new take on Lex Luthor that we haven't seen before.

He is a lot of the things we know about the character. It's a very modern take on his otherwise historic and iconic character. He has a, I would say, recognisably modern psychology, whether it's being used to charm or destroy.

Lex Luthor made his debut in the 1940s in Action Comics, so he's been around for a while. Eisenberg says that they will be doing a more modernized take on the "historic" character. He then went on to talk about how it is working with Ben Affleck while filming the movie. This confirms that they will be interacting with each other on-screen.

It's strange acting with people like Ben Affleck, having to condescend to someone like him. Off set, you're thinking of this person in reverential terms, and then on set I'm condescending him, really quite nasty...

So Eisenberg will try to seem quite superior towards Bruce Wayne or Batman, that part isn't clear yet. This may probably be related to how Batman gets his hands on the Kryptonite. Lex may be using Batman's anger towards Superman to try and get to him himself. The possibilities are endless!

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will be released to theaters on March 25, 2016. The upcoming film will be featuring Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, and Ray Fisher as Cyborg!
