Since 1934 this comic book company has given us numerous big names such as batman, superman, green lantern and so on. Now its finally time to countdown the best DC Comics of all time. Just for the record I am counting only the male heroes so characters like hawk girl and wonder woman won't be making the list this time.
10. Green arrow.
Oliver Queen made his debut in the hood in 1941, in the comic book series " More fun Comics". At first his nature was somewhat related to Bruce Wayne aka the batman but later creator Morton Weisinger gave Mr. Queen a complete separate identity. The guy saves the Star city just with the help of few tricky arrows, a bow, super human aim, dexterity and the guy doesn't even have any other power!! Besides he is a member of the justice league. He even manages to keep his cool billionaire attitude during daylight when he's not the green arrow but Oliver Queen.
9. The Martian Manhunter.
Yep its true he's a Martian who loves to protect the Earth. In 1955 creator Joseph Samachson made this guy when superhero saving the world had become a cliché.
After his entire population was wiped off the planet of Mars by foreign invaders he came to Earth to save the planet from them. The guy is among the seven original members of the Justice League of America.
Superpowers??? Superhuman strength, speed, durability, fast healing, filght, invisibility, telepathy, intellect you name it. The guy even has 9 sense!!!
8. Green lantern (John Stewart).
Two of the human green lanterns include the handsome, smart, and cool tempered ex- US Marine John Stewart. The man is associated with heroes like hawkgirl, Wally West, Hal Jordan and many more. The guys even once helped his senior Hal Jordan save the world. His is a member of the justice league.
Over the years John Stewart has become a popular name. He even has his own collectables!
You don't know him??? Dude Google it!! World class physicist Martin Stein and high school student Ronnie Raymond merged with each other as a result of a nuclear accident.
Although it had a good concept it was not until 1990 that firestorm became famous. Ronnie Raymond ( by himself)becomes the second firestorm and attracts a larger audience. As the name suggests the guy become fire and burn down anything that comes in the way.
IGN places Dick Grayson aka nightwing 5th on the list of top ten superheroes of all time. Originally played by batman's first sidekick Dick Grayson the hero has mad his own spot in the super hero world.
Nightwing remains strongly associated with Batman, but the title and concept have origin to a brand new superhero. Although the guy is not a member of the League he had a few appearances from time to time.
5. Captain Marvel.
Wisdom, strength, unlimited stamina , immortality...these are just among the numerous super powers his has.The character was created in 1939 by artist C. C. Beck and writer Bill Parker, and it first appeared in Whiz Comics 2 (February 1940). He is the alter ego of Billy Boston.
The character was the most popular superhero of the 1940s, outselling even Superman comic series.
All hail the King.Created by Paul Norris and Mort Weisinger, the character debuted in More Fun Comics in November 1941. Wanna know about his superpowers? Dude is the king is Atlantis... Isn't that enough!!
The origin story of Superman relates that he was born Kal-El on the planet Krypton, before being rocketed to Earth as an infant. He started showing his superhuman abilities at a very young age.Superman's primary love interest is Lois Lane, and his archenemy is supervillain Lex Luthor.

If you ever hear the words, " run Barry run!" Then you can be sure that someone is going to run faster than the speed of light. The character first appeared in Showcase 4 in October 1956 created by writer Robert Kanigher and penciler Carmine Infantino.
Besides these all bookish information the guy has his own series names "The Flash" played by actor Grant Gustin.
Even the Batman once said "Barry is the kind of man that I would've hoped to become if my parents hadn't been murdered.
Was there ever any doubt about this? The character was created by artist Bob Kane and writer Bill Finger and first appeared in Detective Comics in May 1939. Batman's secret identity is Bruce Wayne, an American billionaire, playboy, philanthropist, and owner of Wayne Enterprises.
Unlike most superheroes, Batman does not possess any superpowers; he makes use of his genius intellect, physical prowess, martial arts skills, detective skills, science and technology, vast wealth to save Gotham City. ING ranked Batman 2nd on their list of top 10 superheroes of all time.
