Sarah Butler returns as Jennifer Hills. Years after her attack she has changed her name to Angela, started therapy, and tries to live a normal life. She is still plagued by the memory of her attack and still fantasizes of dishing out justice.
Angela begins attending group therapy for rape victims in hopes of dealing with her traumatic experience. Making her first friend in years, Marla, a member of the group, Angela begins to feel more at ease. However, after her friend is murdered and her suspected killer walks, the old Jennifer returns.
Angela begins taking matters into her own hands to help other members of the group. She is tired of watching people feel helpless. I was glad that they brought Sarah Butler back and continued with her story. This time around she isn't a victim but a vigilante, protecting her group members. This is a very gruesome film so be warned. I did like this film better than the 2013 sequel.
