Teased by the executive producer and one of the stars of The Flash, it is now confirmed that we will see the return of our favorite psychic primate during Season 2 on the hit CW show.
While speaking to The Wrap at a press event in Los Angeles, executive producer Andrew Kreisberg and The Flash's very own, Danielle Panabaker, teased the upcoming return of the meta-ape to Central City! (Get it? since he's not a human, he can't be considered a "meta-human"? Never mind...)
I think in Season 1 you got to see just a tiny bit of (Caitlin's) relationship with Grodd,” Panabaker added. “You’ll get to see a little bit more of that and understand their connection from before. He’s got some unfinished business with her, I’d say.
Referencing the 1933 King Kong film, Kreisberg compared Panabaker's character (Caitlin Snow) as the, "Fay Wray to Grodd's Kong," when we see the second coming of our banana-hating gorilla.
I know I'm not the only one excited to see the return of Grodd on The Flash, so tell me: What do you think about this King Kong-esque way that they seem to be teasing the reappearance of Grodd in? Let me know in the comments below!
The Flash Season 2 airs Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. ET, only on The CW!
