There's only one thing stopping The CW from introducing Batman on The Flash, and that's a little thing called "rights." Warner Bros. has made it clear many times that we'll never see a full suited Batman on TV, or Superman. But, what if there was a way for Warner Bros. and The CW to both get what they want.. kinda.
I'm going to list 4 ways The CW could have Batman appear on The Flash that'll make them happy, but also won't piss off Warner Bros. This list is in no particular order.
4. News Footage On TV
One thing I love about The Flash is that it's connected to Arrow. I love when the Central City news reports things that are going on in Star City, and when the Star City news reports things that are going on in Central City. So, why not have the Central City news report a story about a "Bat-like vigilante in Gotham City" and show a quick clip of Batman. Is that enough to please hardcore Batman fans like myself? No way! But, beggars can't be choosers, right? At this point, seeing that newspaper from April 25, 2024 was enough!
3. Season 10 of The Flash
Smallville made it to 10 seasons. One Tree Hill made it to 9 seasons. Supernatural is on its eleventh season. The Vampire Diaries is most likely going to get renewed for an eighth season. It's no surprise that The CW has some good content and a great fan base and considering The Flash is already better than all of those combined, I could see it getting to 10 seasons.
So, assuming it does, April 25, 2024 would be episode 19 or 20, depending on no time jumps and each season sticking with 23 episodes. By that time, the Justice League is formed meaning we would have to see Batman, as well as Superman and others, at least once or twice.
2. No Batman, Just Bruce Wayne
It took Smallville until the last scene of the last episode of the last season to show Clark in the Superman suit. If The CW was allowed to do that, then I'm sure they could work out something with Warner Bros. to get Bruce Wayne to appear for an episode.
The "Wayne Tech/Queen Inc. Merger Complete" takes place in 2024, but I'm sure Oliver would like to meet up with his future business partner, and maybe Barry could be there! Either way, appearing as Bruce Wayne is most likely the only way we'll see him on The Flash, at least for the time being.
1. Batman From Another World
The theme of this season seems to be Other Worlds. Earth-1, Earth-2, Earth 50, etc.
The Flash doesn't do everything straight from the comics so maybe in Barry's world, Bruce Wayne's Batman doesn't exist. Maybe he exists in, let's say Earth-3. Barry, and maybe Jay, could travel to Earth-3 where maybe Zoom is, and while they're trying to stop him, you just see Batman kicking some Zoom ass, or at least trying to!
Those are my 4 ways that The CW could make Bruce Wayne and/or Batman appear on The Flash!
The Flash season 2 airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on The CW.
