What a week in terms of DCEU news right? Everything from the new Suicide Squad pictures to new Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice information has all been a real treat for DC fans.

One of the biggest mysteries about Suicide Squad is what role Cara Delevingne's character Enchantress will have. Originally lined up along side Task Force X in promotional images, many have since speculated that she will in fact be the primary villain in the film. The latest issue of Empire (which gave us our first full look at The Joker) unfortunately does not shed any light on this question-but actress Cara Delevingne sheds some light on her character and also gets her own cover!

Cara Delevingne Graces Cover of Empire!

Merely minutes after Tweeting out an official image from Jared Leto's Empire cover, director David Ayer also gave fans a look at Cara Delevingne's cover as well! She looks truly terrifying and pretty villainous! The issue also goes in depth about the character and Delevingne herself revealed some information on the character as well!

Who exactly is Cara Delevingne's Enchantress?

With so much speculation going around, we still don't know much about Enchantress. Luckily for us, Cara Delevingne goes in depth to describe the character and we really get a sense of the type of performance we can expect out of her!

"And she gets what she wished for, but in a terrible way. At the start of the movie she discovers a cavern and finds...something...within."

Something within? So it seems that our speculation from the trailer was true! She stumbles upon a cavern and awakens the spirit that is Enchantress. It is likely that Delevingne will be playing two entirely different characters, before and after her possession, and it could make for some interesting storylines! When describing the character of Enchantress, Delevingne has this to say:

"A feral being" that sounds pretty awesome!

Cara Delevingne going dark as Enchantress?

"I'd gather the accent, which is deeper and posher than June's. And I'd last Nick Cave's Red Right Hand, that song about the devil. Also a lot of Megadeth. Just evil stuff."

Cara Delevingne listens to some pretty dark stuff to get into the role of Enchantress. The fact that June and Enchantress are polar opposites of each other makes it completely necessary to get into a dark state of mind. I am very excited for her role and I am very intrigued as to whether she is the villain or part of Task Force X. There isn't much that doesn't get me excited when it comes to Suicide Squad. I really hope it lives up to me expectations, this could be one of my favorite films ever!
