In the midst of mania surrounding both Batman v. Superman and Star Wars: The Force Awakens, a third contender continues to shine bright within its own mystery -- DC's other upcoming film, Suicide Squad. The upcoming issue of Empire will be produced with multiple collector's edition covers featuring key members of the cast, with two new sneak peeks at the collection below, revealed earlier today by David Ayer.
While fans are no strangers to Harley Quinn's big screen look (she is, after all, the most-Googled character this Halloween) the other ladies of the Squad have taken something of a back seat so far.
But now, Cara Delevingne's Enchantress comes to life on the cover of Empire, the whites of her eyes glaring back at the reader as if to crawl under their skin with her 40-yard stare. Some fans are speculating that Enchantress will be the true villain of the film -- and with a stride like this, I'm pretty convinced that she's going to cause some trouble.
Jared Leto's super creepy villain now graces a second cover following the exclusive pastel cover released yesterday. Wearing the same scaly coat as he did in the other cover, Joker seems like a formidable foe that looks like he'll take center stage, despite the film being titled Suicide Squad. Gotta stuff those purple coat pockets somehow.
Suicide Squad hits theaters on August 5, 2016.
