Liam Hemsworth is quite the handsome fellow, not to mention talented, buff, with a sexy Australian accent to boot. It really can't get any better than that.

Or so I thought.

In the latest issue of Men's Health, Liam Hemsworth showed off his more compassionate side when he revealed that he has actually adopted a vegan lifestyle for several months.

Hemsworth's decision to go vegan stemmed form the health benefits that come with a vegan lifestyle. He also learned more about the mistreatment of animals. He drew inspiration from Hunger Games co-star Woody Harrelson, who has been vegan for a whopping 30 years or so!

Liam has also become a positive influence on his brother, who has a sensitive stomach. After eating more vegetables and having his meals more plant-based, Liam has been feeling a lot better.

When asked if he ever craves fried food and In-N-Out Burger, Hemsworth admits that he doesn't, as the less he eats meat, the less he craves it. He also assures people that he is in fact getting his needed protein. And if you've seen pictures of him without his shirt, you wouldn't need to question him about that either.

Hemsworth also chatted about his adopted dog Tani, who he rescued from a shelter.

I feel a personal connection to this, as I went vegan nearly three years ago. It was a slow transition, but much like Liam Hemsworth, I too have a really sensitive stomach.

I feel energized, I have learned how to cook (and incredibly well, I might add), and I have influenced my friends and family to eat less meat and incorporate more veggies into their diets. They, too, feel much better.

I also think about my love for animals, and how many less precious ones are going to be eaten as more and more people become vegan. We have the ability to change our bodies and the world for the better. I am grateful for celebs like Liam and Woody Harrelson for inspiring more people to make better choices.
