It was one the most anticipated games showcased at E3 2015, and finally No Man's Sky's release date has been revealed, along with a brand new trailer! Hello Games has announced that the space exploration game will be available on PS4 in June 2016. So make sure you write that down on your calendars, and that your spaceship is fully functional - we're going to explore planets!
Haven't seen the new trailer yet? Check it out below!
The new trailer, titled "I've Seen Things", gives players further insight into what they can expect to do while exploring the universe in No Man's Sky. Of course, we've already seen a few things in relation to No Man's Sky, no pun intended. But the narration of the trailer gives off quite a story-teller vibe - creating the feeling that after you've played the game, you'll have a few stories to tell too. From exploring new planets and harvesting resources, to engaging in huge battles in the darkness of space - you'll never be short of things to do in No Man's Sky!
In the PlayStation Blog post by Hello Games founder, Sean Murray, he highlighted just how excited the team is to bring the news of No Man's Sky's release date:
"This is a game that means everything to our team. I have wanted to play something like No Man's Sky since I was a kid, and many of you have told me you feel the same. For all of us, we get one shot to make this game and we can't mess it up. Our small team knows the world is watching, we've come from the bottom and we don't take it lightly."
With the release date for No Man's Sky set for PS4 in June 2016, only two questions remain: When can we expect to see No Man's Sky for PC? And how much more does Hello Games plan to reveal from now till the release date? Well, the only thing we can do now is wait, and dream of planets far away!
