There's a lot of Disney Princess fan art around, with a multitude of talented people creating images. It's especially cool to see the Princesses as a.) Something totally out of character and b.) Cleverly reimagined to use their existing features or traits in their new settings.

The following images are the glorious creation of Travis Falligant for Break, who have celebrated Halloween in the most creative and entertaining way possible by making these wonderful images of Disney Princesses enjoying a new life—or DEATH—as classic horror villains!

1, 2, Snow White's Coming for You...

Horror Villain: Freddy Krueger, A Nightmare on Elm Street

Disney Princess: Snow White, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

Why it Works: Freddy sometimes morphs and develops strange growths and extra faces. It's a witty little nod to add the seven dwarfs into the picture like this.

Welcome to Camp Jamestown

Horror Villain: Jason Voorhees, Friday the 13th

Disney Princess: Pocahontas

Why it Works: Pocahontas lives in a rural area with many lakes and canoes, perfect for the secluded setting of Friday the 13th's Camp Crystal Lake.

I Hope That's Not Piglet's Blood

Horror Villain: Carrie

Disney Princess: Cinderella

Why it Works: Just like Cinderella, all Carrie wanted to do was go to a lovely big party and have a nice time...

There are many strange legends in Atlantica

Horror Villain: The Creature From the Black Lagoon

Disney Princess: Ariel, The Little Mermaid

Why it Works: Well, Ariel is an aquatic being, as is The Creature, so it's a natural fishy fit.

Do You Wanna Haunt a Hallway?

Horror Villain: The Grady Twins, The Shining (well, they're less "villains" than terrifying apparitions)

Disney Princesses: Anna and Elsa, Frozen

Why it Works: Anna and Elsa's bond as sisters is a major theme of the family-friendly Disney flick, just as the Grady Twins bond is so important in The Shining.

I'll Be Stabbing for My Own Hand...

Horror Villain: Chucky, Child's Play

Disney Princess: Merida, Brave

Why it Works: Merida's flaming red hair works well for Chucky's signature mop.

The Power of Jafar Compels You!

Horror Villain: Regan MacNeil possessed by the demon Pazuzu, The Exorcist

Disney Princess: Jasmine, Aladdin

Why it Works: Jasmine is also a beloved only child who is taken under the influence of a malevolent power. It's a nice touch having the carpet form the restraints, too.
