I remember that morning like it was yesterday: Waking up, going downstairs, preparing some coffee and then I turned on the TV.
Like I always do, I checked Sundance Channel, and at the beginning the name of the movie, Anabelle and Elvis, didn't say anything to me, then with some curiosity I just checked the names of the actors,
I've been following her work since Gossip Girl but I wouldn't expect her tobe in this channel so I pressed the button, expecting the unexpected. I did't know that I would trapped by that movie for the next 105 minutes; I couldn't stop watching, even if a zombie apocalypse started at my front door.
I cried, I laugh, I felt sorry and happy.
This movie is that movie that makes you feel like you were just another character and you yell at them like they could hear you.
We all know that the preppy girl and country boy fall in love is actually used a lot but this time, the country boy is not Zac Efron or Adam Levine; our country boy is just a poor boy who works with his father and who totally doesn't know anythung about women or love.
Also happens with the beauty queen, this time we don't have an Ashley Tisdale prototype, this girl has brain, she's not all beauty; she just want to live her life.
Also the movie has that depressed part of the characters that made honour to this genre and to Sundance Channel, Alternative Movies.
When I understood all the story I have to say that at the beginning I didn't think it was gonna be a good film with the zombie girl part but It totally worked and made the movie even better.
If you're a fan of Alternative films who aren't as famous as they deserve then watched, you'll have a marvelous time and don't worry I'm not gonna say anything more about it; You have to discover it by yourself.
