Both known and forgotten horror films of the 20th Century

The first, and only World War movie that I have seen this year, which in my opinion was shocking since it is the 100th year anniversary since the start of WWI. Anyway, this a late review but by no means is it because I didn't have anything to say about it. The movie is raw look at what some of the American soldiers were experiencing during the final days of WWII, and by no means did this film sugar-coat it in anyway. The story follows a group of five men assigned to a Sherman tank, who are all tired, scared, and hardened by war. The leader of the tank is Collier (Brad Pitt), whom is trying to get it through the head of a new soldier named Ellison (Logan Lerman) that war isn't pretty, it isn't fair, but in order to survive you may have to compromise everything you believe and know about yourself. The story is amazing, and reminds of a book called "Generals Die in Bed", which give a scary and sickening account of how war is not glorious, but horrifying and traumatizing to even the hardest of soldiers. With an amazing story plot, great cast, and awesome effects this was truly one for the more real war story I have seen in a long time. Go check it out.
