Here's a Halloween treat! Take a break from all the horrific Halloween costumes and look at these classic costume switcheroos! Japanese artist Haruki Godo (godohelp on DeviantArt), imagines Disney characters dressed as each other for Halloween.
Prince Adam as Gaston & Belle as a Bimbette
For a second there, I thought Gaston dressed up as himself for Halloween! If it weren't for the hair and eyes (and Gaston's cleft chin), I wouldn't recognize Prince Adam. He makes a convincing and a better looking Gaston! Belle's also beautiful as a Bimbette. Her dress is somewhat a simple version of her yellow ball gown.
Jane & Tarzan as Tarzan's Parents
Dark blue is definitely a beautiful color for Jane! I like how Tarzan's mother's dress fits her better than her own yellow dress. Blue definitely brings out her eyes.
Wreck-It-Ralph Characters as Themselves
Vanellope seems to be enjoying herself as Sergeant Calhoun as the real Sergeant Calhoun looks more of a Vanellope von BITTER-Schweetz. It's nice to see Wreck-It-Ralph dressed as Fix-It-Felix. His big hands sure make him a handy handyman!
Rapunzel as Mother Gothel & Flynn as One of the Stabbington Brothers
Blonde hair always goes well with a red dress. Even if Rapunzel's dressed as Mother Gothel, she still looks festive (she also bears a resemblance to La Muerte from The Book of Life). As for Flynn, even with an eyepatch he still looks dashing. He looks more badass dressed as a Stabbington. I wish Disney could've considered giving Flynn's costume design a bit more arm exposure. Bet he would've had the ladies swooning even more!
Kristoff as Prince Hans & Anna as Elsa
By the looks on Kristoff's face, you know that he finds this whole thing ridiculous. On the other hand, Anna is definitely killing the part of Elsa as a damsel in distress.
Prince Hans as Kristoff & Elsa as Anna
If Hans wasn't a bad guy, he would make a cute Kristoff. But since he is, he definitely deserves to be hit with a pumpkin string instrument by Anna - I mean, Elsa. It would've been nice to see Elsa with two braids though.
It's nice to see some non-horror fan art for Halloween. Halloween isn't just about the scary stuff! Actually it is, but it's mostly about the candy and costumes. You can find more of Haruki's works on DevianArt and Tumblr.
