When you first saw the teams of Captain America and Iron Man for the upcoming Captain America: Civil War movie, you surely thought that Tony’s team was insanely overpowered. He has none other than The Vision and Black Panther on his team. Not to mention James Rhodes and himself have incredibly robust Iron Man suits. Whereas, Cap has four people on his team who have no such superpowers. The only person in his team with a superpower worth mentioning is Scott Lang. But that too may not seem much against Tony’s squad.

However, once you perceive both line-ups carefully, you will realize that Tony’s is not overpowered at all. Four strong factors might make Civil War an equal fight. First up…

1. Giant-Man

Rumors have been circulating for a long time now that Scott Lang may transform into what he calls ‘Giant Man’ in CA: CW. An interview with Ant-Man’s director shows that it might be a possibility:

“Listen, I think with Hank Pym and Scott Lang, and with that technology, I think it’s safe to say at some point somewhere you’re going to see some real growth for that character. I hedge my bet there, because it could be sort of growth as a human being, emotional growth, or literal giant growth. There’s a good chance of that.”

Apart from shrinking people, Pym particles have also been known to increase their size to a great extent in the comics. No doubt his transformation will greatly aid for Captain America in Civil War. If shown, Giant-Man will certainly be unique to witness in the movie.

2. Bucky’s Surprise

As seen in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, James Barnes's metal arm enhances his ability to fight by granting him superhuman strength and enhanced reaction time. But what wasn’t shown in the movie is that it can also discharge an EMP rendering electronic devices useless! If used properly against Iron Man, War Machine and Vision, Cap’s team will have a strong chance of winning. Vision is an android with a Vibranium body and is programmed with J.A.R.V.I.S based codes, remember? Stark definitely won’t see that coming.

3. Black Panther’s Huge Weakness

Despite T’Challa’s countless abilities like superhuman strength, senses, stamina, intelligence, healing, agility, reflexes and Vibranium claws, he has this one tremendous weakness…Due to his heightened senses, bright lights, loud noises, and strong smells can potentially overwhelm him. So whether it be one of Hawkeye’s super smelly gas arrows, or the humming of Scott’s hundreds of flying friends, Black Panther can’t stand a chance against them.

4. Scarlett Witch's Side

Wanda has not yet chosen her side for Civil War as far we know. According to Elizabeth Olsen,

She’s OK. She’s doing alright. She’s confused, she’s conflicted. She’s found some people she thinks she connects with, but she’s doing alright. They released images of Team Cap and Team Iron Man. She wasn’t there. She’s always the wild card. I like being the wild card.

Now although Wanda is the wild card for Civil War, she may eventually join Team Cap. Why is that? Well, as shown in Avengers: Age Of Ultron, she opposed Tony alongside Steve on his decision to experiment on Vision. This might be a hint that she would take Cap’s side in CA: CW. Furthermore, her initial hatred for the Avengers was because of a Stark Industries missile that killed her parents. Although, it wasn’t Stark’s fault, she might not choose to side with him because of the incident.

So y'see the Team Cap isn't as feeble as it seems.
