If you have not heard about him yet, you might want to sit down for a moment. For the past year now, Wrinkles The Clown has been sighted all over South Florida, showing up on security cameras, outside peoples windows and at parties. At first everyone thought he was a joke, but we soon found out he is not... he is real and now we have proof.
It was only a matter of time before the news crews got to him. See what Wrinkles has to say for himself in this NBC Exclusive Interview
And of course, how could they resist.. they had to mention the creepy video that started it all for Wrinkles The Clown. The infamous "under the bed video". I wonder if the moms and dads of these girls knew about this vid before they let their children stand next to him!
“He was scared of clowns and I showed up across the street from him at the bus stop and he just started crying in front of his friends and ran home,” Wrinkles told The Post, somewhat remorsefully, in his heavy New England accent. “His mother called back a few days later and said ‘Thank you!’ Now when he acts bad, she just has to ask him: ‘Do you want Wrinkles to come back?’ ” - The Washington Post
From Parenting.com to The Washington Post it's as if the entire internet seems to be stunned by Wrinkles unorthodox approach to children's behavioral techniques. But in an age where kids seem to be bigger jerks then ever, maybe they do need a little Wrinkles in their life. In fact it's not all that strange if you think about it. Don't we all remember a time when mom and dad would threaten us with the boogie man or even better the Sand Man? Maybe Wrinkles is just a modern day boogie man on a mission to scare kids straight and have a little fun while he is at it!
It will be interesting to see where he pops up next. This could be really entertaining or head south real quick, especially with all the 'Stand Your Ground' laws in Florida. We shall see!
