Fans of the 2010 Alice in Wonderland have been waiting a long six years to venture back into the wonder, enchantment, and adventure of Underland. With a new director, James Bobin (Muppets Most Wanted), at the helm of the project, the Walt Disney Pictures sequel Alice Through the Looking Glass is getting ready to welcome us back with open arms.

Today, Disney released two short teaser trailers for the movie. Although each clip only clocks in at about 10 seconds, it's more than enough to whet our appetites and keep us wanting more. Check them out here:

Through the Looking Glass

Nothing but a bit of madness to take you on a great adventure.

Down we go

Not quite a rabbit hole, but Alice certainly knows how to make an entrance.

Although the first Alice in Wonderland movie took inspiration and some elements from Lewis Caeroll's Through the Looking Glass, Disney's version will jump around through the timelines of the inhabitants of Underland, meaning we might be able to see some prequel stories in this sequel movie.

Thanks to a new character named Time, played by Sacha Baron Cohen, Alice (Mia Wasikowska) will be able visit the pasts of characters we already know like the Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp), the Red Queen (Helena Bonham Carter) and the White Queen (Anne Hathaway).

Here's the official storyline according to IMDb:

When Alice wakes up in Wonderland she must travel through a mysterious new world to retrieve a magical scepter that can stop the evil Lord of Time before he turns forward the clock and turns Wonderland into a barren, lifeless old world. With the help of some new friends, Alice must also uncover an evil plot to put the Queen of Hearts back on the throne.

'Alice Through the Looking Glass' will reach theaters starting May 27, 2016.
